Here is another image from Osprey Heaven.

One of my nemesis birds -- impossible (for me, at least) to catch sharply in flight. You've caught him in a nice flight position, wings down and angling slightly toward you. Well done. I personally don't think the twigs in the lower FG add anything to the image, but they are what they are.

Great shot Jim. I do feel that making the catch-light smaller would improve it somewhat.

If they move at anything like the speed of the kingfishers we have over in England, then I have to hand it to you for this shot. Excellent details, and for me personally, I like the grasses in the lower part of the frame - the add to the environment

Ditto Alan regarding the catch light. Also it seems like you applyed too much gaussian blur on BG.

A lovely specie, super hard to shoot in flight due to its super fast fly.

Top marks for getting the bird so well in focus against such a background. Agree on the catchlight and would also remove the twigs along the bottom, not hard to do.

Hi Jim, almost neighbors... great flight shot. I know from trying how difficult, nice work.
