This young spoonbill was ruffling its feather after a preeening session. I removed some dark spots from the water, brightened the eye slightly, applied a linear contrast with curves, cropped and sharpened. All suggestions welcomed!

No suggestion needed -- thank you very much! Perfect exp, color, sharpness and pose. But what takes this over the top for me is the framing.

No criticism from me. This is one of those nice instances where the background, subject pose and colours all work together perfectly. Simple but very nice

The title alone is a 10/10.
Really lovely pose and great HA.
The whites on the neck look good ( they are so easy to blow).
My only wish is for a better "perch". The mud isn't the nicest. Since you have already cloned some dark spots in the water I would clone out the solitary mud pile to reduce the impact.
I would also smooth out 2 the areas where you cloned out the dark spots (below and to the right of mud).
Overall , a really sweet image,
Gail

Very nice one!
Love the colour here. I would just add more room all around it if mine.

Very nice overall with an interesting feather shake pose. I agree with Gail abou tthe separate part of mud, all others aspects look excellent to me.
