I havent been out for a while due to our bad weather and work. I was going through some of my files from last winter, and found this image ( already processed ) It was one of those images that one will post next time, but then you get a 'newer' image which of course you post, and this then gets left behind for an occasion like this - 6 months later. Just a grey-headed gull coming in for a touch down. Taken early morning.

Love that reflection and the splash.
The wing extension is at its peak which is great and the slight head turn towards the viewer is great.
My only suggestion would be to eliminate some, but not all,of the reflections of the grasses that appear as round blobs near the wing reflection.
I am glad you found this image again!

Lovely reflection, pose and a cool bg. +1 to Gail's suggestion of evicting some of the blobs in the reflection. Hope you get some good weather and spare time for photography, but who's complaining if you've got images like this sitting around ;-)

It all came together on this one - the still water gave you a killer reflection, the eye contact is there, and the wing position couldn't be better. Light was great to boot! Very nicely captured.

Stuart Sir,
Spectacular landing pose with very nice wing position, beautiful HA and lovely reflection.
I like the reflection of grass in blue water, flash of water near foot, trail of water and composition.

Regards,
Satish.
