my first post here .
taken in the south of france ,near a river , on a sunny day , the male give the female a bee ,
sitting in my hide , with a trypod

Wondeful to see. I think you could have made a stronger image compositionally but I like it all the same.

Think the birds look perfect on a nice clean nice BG ,I honestly can't see how you could improve this. Will look forward to reading other more experienced peoples views on this ,lovely image.

Well done - both birds very sharp and a nice background. Had to smile at the look of disdain from the female - knowing the motivation behind the gift!

If it was mine I would crop more than half the clear area off the top - more of a pano format - and depending on where the male's tail goes, maybe also extend to the left if there is anything there.

I like the interaction between the birds, good details. it was a shame the left bee eater's tail got blocked by the perch. A bit more room on the left will help I would also reduce the green cast a bit.
