Hi Edward,
You have a sweet perky pose but something went wrong with your PP.
A lot of " ground glass" look on the bird and BG as well as significant chromatic aberration.
I would suggest a redo!:S3:

Cute fella with a cute pose, but I agree the processing looks heavy here. Looks like a heavy dose of NR combined with a heavy dose of sharpening...could be wrong, but I've had that result before when combining those ingredients together. Looks like the image is worth working on though!

Thanks for the comments folks. The problems are very apparent to me now. I applied what I thought were light touches of NR and deconvolution, but yes the combination here could be working against itself. Might be worth saving but I'm just not very skilled (yet) with pp rescue. Back to the lab. . . :)
