Devil's Golf Course during dusk. The light was slowly fading with the crags in the ground slowly becoming shadows. Mere moments after this the light was completely gone. But I liked how it painted the otherwise bare rocks.

Sony A100, Sony 16-50/2.8, F/13, 1/15s a panorama of three images (handheld)

Hi Dvir

Interesting foreground (I thought it was mud..), nice sky, composition OK by me, so not sure what else you could have done in camera.. In processing, I would have made the hillside a little lighter to add a bit more detail, however I think you might have already done a bit of that already..

Don - you are looking at the top of 3500 vertical feet of salt - its in death valley. the few rains there in the winters evaporate off the salt to form small pillars. A few brave souls will often try to walk away from the dirt road but its not pleasant.
Dvir - if it were mine, I'd lose some but not all, of the heavy blue cast in the background mountains and foreground.
It will open up the mountains a bit,
Perhaps something like this.

I like that Don, I actually ventured out and got scratched quite a bit. Did you add some saturation as there now seems to be a lot of red?

I prefer the repost too, but would back off the red top of distant mountain. Thanks for the clarification Don..

The repost looks good Don, I like the bit of red in the mountains. Warming the foreground gave it some life.

Hi Dvir, i like this comp quite abit and Don's repost gives it the boost needed. I like the careful consideration given to the arrangement of the terrain in the foreground. Nice work!

Nice perspective and looks quite desolate, is the golf course then off to the RHS??
I like Don's repost, but would perhaps go midway between the two in terms of the colour shift.

And Morkel it is right of the road that goes down to Badwater on the right hand side. I did walk about into it to get that kind of perspective, I also lifted and tilted the camera to get the right perspective to make it seem endless.

I believe your repost is an improvement making it a nice image.

I prefer the repost as well. Angle really does give it an endless feeling. Well done.
