Taken at Shoreline Park in Mountain View, California. I've tried my best to bring out the red in its eyes without things looking too artificial.

A difficult bird to photograph. You have done an exquisite job but I would like to see a bit more room around him

You nailed the exposure, and the colours are very nice. Good low angle too. The eye looks good...but you might like it even better by using the sponge tool to saturate with an 8-10% flow. I agree the comp would breathe better with more room around the subject.

Nice bird with wonderful eye.
Like the low angle, details, pose and the colors. Wish me a little more room around the bird, too.

I appreciate the appearance of calmness in this birds pose. As well a the previous comments about the great low perspective, exposure and eye contact, I also like how the background has just a bit of details in it and that it doesn't look like just a blank wall.

Daniel, the sponge tool will saturate??

Love stilt image, Grand. You had nice light and you nailed the exposure. You have great details in your feathers. The stilt is personally too large in the frame for me. The dark spot upper right is an easy fix. You could also just use the clone tool and take a spot from just to the left of the dark spot.
