This is more frequent seeing these cool looking birds in the snow.
I only got two frames and he never turned his head towards me.
Thanks for looking.

Hey Karl, Nicely done. Looks a bit like a "Cadieux." I love the raised foot and the perfect light angle. Me thinks that it might need a bit of CCW rotation (unless it was on a slope....) Lastly, it could use a bit more head turn towards us

Thanks, Artie.
The terrain was pretty flat but the snow surface had some bumps here and there.
I have some shots with much better head angle but they did not walk.

He is so proud and must be looking for a walking stick. Well done-exposure and white details with subtle saturation.

Nice exposure and details. Good colour balance. I like the walking pose. I agree a better head angle would be ideal.

I love the strolling look. He didn't look at you because he didn't want you to know he knew you were watching. Fine exposure. Althout the HA could be better, it doesn't bother me here at all.

They all aren't concerned with us and sometimes I like the attitude.
Nice pose and setting….

I agree about the head angle but the rest looks very good. The walking pose is great. Details, too. Exposure control is perfect. Well done, Karl.
