Nice spot light effect on the head which is nice and sharp.

The detail and the light on the head are wonderful.Great spotlight effect.
I wish the rest of the bird wasn't so dominant and dark as it pulls the eye away from the head.

Tim, I Agree with comments above. I also find that yellow leaf to be a distraction, toning down or removing it would help the overall image. Interesting pose and angle in frame.

Good critiques above. I like the spotlight effect, and would tone down or remove the yellow leaf. I might also back off on the sharpening of the head.
