Black-headed Antbird

Antbirds like these are very difficult to photograph.
Found this one in a very dark/thick white-sand forest. So thick I had to go without the tripod.

Playback used.
6D + 300mm f/4 + 1.4x, handheld in AV mode. +1/3 EC, 1/125s, ƒ/5.6, ISO1600.
TTL flash at -2/3

Removed some of the OOF twigs, NR on the background.

Cool bird- must have been a good journey. Eventhough I am not a flash user, you captured fine colours and details of what must be a secretive bird. Well done
