When there is no open water, snow will do.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Karl, don't know which way to go re composition ,I do like the snow and the image portrays the depth of it, must admit I would have to give it a lot of thought with you having so much snow and a small bird, It's a very good image which I like a lot ,and look forward to reading comments to follow.

I like the snow covered beak, exposure and sharpness. I tried a version cropped a little tighter and liked it. Nice image Karl.

Hi Karl
I think this is excellent. I really like the composition and think you have go it to work well with a small subject. Nice to see something different to the normal tight crops.
Exposure and IQ look perfect.

Love it Karl, nice capture and image. Since moving to Florida fourteen years ago I have not see a Junco but remember them from my time up north in New Hampshire.

Great capture Karl! I could see a version that has a tighter crop from the above and from the left, but then the image also conveys the amount the snow relative to the size of a junco.

Nice image. For my taste the bird is a bit to small. Exposure control works well and i love the snow at the beak
