I've never seen one of these. Pretty colors and setting. I think I would try a crop with the bird to the right of the frame as well if his were mine. It would also remove the dark cone that is a bit distracting

Great shot! We usually get these Finches in our local park, but not this year, as the food source is abundant further north. If possible, I would add more room toward the left and bottom. Ideally, it would be nice if the head angle is more toward us. Otherwise, really nice colour and details!

Raymond has nailed the critique for me, and I agree. More room left and below to include the full branch tip if you have it. Nice colour to this male. These guys are bot present every winter up here, but when they are they are certainly a star attraction!

It needs a looser crop and a bit of a head turn, but the bird is beautiful and the IQ is really nice.

Matt they are both very nice but I do prefer the last one and the pose it's in, even though the BG is not so good, great shots of these cracking looking birds.
