Three tiger cubs have been made open to public viewing here at our Zoo. I couldn't wait to catch a glimpse of them and use my gear. Here is a shot with the 5D3 and 500+1.4X tight portrait.

Hi Sanjeev, I'm away so can't comment on colour, it's gorgeous, but for me it needed to be shot either portrait, or without the 1.4. Clipped front paw, plus the back is not ideal which is a crying shame. Techs look good apart from the 1.4. :w3 Setting looks quite authentic.

Hi Sanjeev,
really nice for a captive image, surrounding does look very natural.Pose and look of the tiger are great. Nicely processed but ……………. the crop , not ideal.
Just a question ….. you are in India, why do shoot your local wildlife in a Zoo ? :w3.It is easier and cheaper to get them there,. BTW in which Zoo is this taken ?

Beautiful face and eyes! I wonder if a crop of just the head would work?!

Hi Sanjeev - techs and pp look good. I agree with the others that the comp is a problem. As Steve said you needed to remove the tc or shoot in portrait orientation. Maybe Nancy's suggestion will work. Do you have any more wider?

Andreas, this was the Hyderabad Zoo in Southern India. Most tiger reserves are 400-500 Km away from my place, I went to Tadoba a month ago but had no sighting of the tiger :-( so the zoo proves to be a better bet :-)
