Nice action pose Dave! Love the colors in the feathers. I think the bird could use a little more sharpening and perhaps a little more room on the left.

Tight on the tail. Nice colors both on the bird and the background. Nicely composed and well exposed.

question......rather than more room at tail as is, how about a CCW rotation and then fill in the canvas?

This would have worked well as a HORZ also. Wish for a bit less head turn. Light and details wonderful. I think that we shall have to start a "Beautiful Grackles" Forum...

Great capture and composition Dave, Love the sharp details of your bird. Would have liked just a tad more space on the left for the tail...But hey, great job, I like it alot...keep them coming...:D

this is with 5 degree ccw....does this work better?
Tried a horizontal and just could not get it

I like the repost, very nice work here Dave. The rotation did it for me and was a great idea.

Rotation works well for me too, Dave. Beautiful bird, and excellent details and colors.

Grackles forum would work Artie.....for a while anyway! :D
