This is the same owl in Ottawa has been christened "Clementine" by Gail Bison. Image taken on an overcast sky with Daniel. Now I see the difference in the eyes of the owl during overcast vs. sunny day. The owl came in and took a live bait.

Very nice Loi!
I like the curled primaries and the hint of mouse in the talons.
The light snow and treeline look really nice as well.
What a wonderful owl.

Lovely Loi, I like the whiteness, which makes the eyes really stand out

I like the pose and snow and the view of the talons.

I am not seeing much details on the owl. checkout my blog to learn more about processing snowy images http://arihazeghiphotography.com/blog/a-snowy-winter/

The flat light makes it tough to bring out those details eh! Neat "after the catch" pose, and the tree line helped making the owl stand out. With so much white below I'd look into taking some off there...

Arash, thank you, I did read the blog and it was very useful. But as Daniel said, the light was very flat, so I don't think I can get more details on the owl. Loi
