PP Crop, levels, reduced the blacks in the whites via selective color, Detail Extractor at 4%, USM to JPEG at 35%

Gail, you had strong light but you handled it great. Exposure looks good.

Hi Gail, excellent detail and sharpness. I like the extended talons and the snow dust. The wing position is OK, but for the take off, I would prefer to see both wings up for a more dynamic pose. TFS. Loi

Love the crop it tells the wide wingspan story. Nice glint in eye capture.

Hi Gail, I really like this take off pose, and love the head turn, looking in the direction he's wanting to go. The extended wingspread works for me, and overall well exposed. The flying snow from the left talons adds that something extra. I just wish the shadow wasnt cut off on the left.

I think both images deserve a place in your portfolio. Beautiful control of the exposure and dynamic poses. I do wish that the shadow was complete in the first one.

I too think both are pretty sweet. The exposure and detail look great and the dynamic poses make great frames. Well done Gail.
