Caspian tern

This caspian tern had a monumental struggle with this fish, I have a number of images of the scenario. I will keep you guessing over the outcome. The only modification is a minor adjustment in raw adjustment and a crop. I thought it appropriate to leave the tern top left in the frame -WDYT?

Jonathon, this was a cool struggle to witness and the photograph shows it nicely. Frankly, I don't think the tern on the viewer's left adds much and, in fact, distracted my eye from the main battle as I opened the image.

Great action image...amazing that the fish and bird are both sharp. I'd loose that tern by cropping, preserving the integrity of the image for possible contest entry. Unless rules allow.

The tern needs to go. I like the wave cresting with the perceived different colors of water. Cool image.

Pretty neat action you got here! I torn on that tern and actually wish there was more of it...cropping it away and you lose lots of splashing action, but cloning it out gets the comp a bit off balance. An intriguing image with a story to tell...I like that. I'm looking forward to the outcome!

Hi Jon, great action captured here, and I like the flight pose of the front Tern with the frustrated open beak. Good IQ on the fish, nice clean sea, and Im fine with the Tern at the back.

I would keep it as is. I wish the bird in the corner where inside the frame but with the fish in the picture it makes more sense to keep the image as is. Love the light and all the action you got here.

I would leave the Tern in, too much splash would be removed.
Killer focus on the Fish….
