Wonderful subject, pose and perch.
Too bad it bird isn't turning just slightly more towards the viewer (I can hear the Head Angle police in my head).
The blacks are so black that I think you are sacrificing some shadow detail.
It is very subtle, but if you could pull up the dark tone just slightly I suspect that more plumage detail would be revealed.
