I took this over 1.5 years ago when I first picked up a camera. We took a trip to the American Southwest and Arches National Park was one of the destinations. We waited until the sun set and I got this picture. Its a jpeg from an old crop camera so the dynamic range isn't what one would get today with a D800 in RAW. But I liked the whole scene.

I too love it overall. Will it respond to a little more shadow recovery on the arch? Great sky and sunlight remnants on the arch and the stone face to the left.

I've got some pix that I took with my little P&S Canon G7. I've gone back with higher firepower to try for a "better" image, but the original has elements that just haven't been replicated since I took the original.

Yes, very subtle, but I prefer the RP.

Awesome light! I love it!

Wonder if there is just a little more contrast to be pulled out of the darker mid-tones in the BG and bottom half of the arch?

Hey Dvir. Super composition, light and mood here. Repost is a touch better. Love how the light caught the rocks/arch.
Good job - assuming this is an exposure blend or is it in fact a single shot?

Morkel-It is a single shot. Glad you like it.
Diane- Its already been stretched quite a bit, not sure it will hold up to more contrast.
