i sort of with they were not merge as much, but then again, it is sort of the point.
Nice exposure on these guys, looks good.

Great job on exposure. Fine comp as well. Good choice with the vertical.

Although you were working at a pretty steep angle here, this is a fun image. Love seeing the pair together each facing a different way. The light was a bit harsh here, and it might help to burn your perch a little bit. Well seen and executed.

I really like the pose of both birds and the way they are facing different directions.
The light was quite harsh and gave you some difficult shadows (on the belly) to deal with. This image would have been a killer with softer light.
Both birds are nice and sharp.
I might try to eek out more details in the blacks and reduce the brightness of the perch and the BG.

Thank you all for viewing and offering suggestions to improve my image. I had time today to revisit the image. I opened the shadows on the bellies of both birds and burned the perch. I also softened the harsh light by reducing the contrast. Posted is the revision.
