I found this male bluebird poking his head out of hole in a willow tree along the edge of Beaver Lake.

Bluebirds are the state bird of Missouri and they are common at the PGT (http://prairiegardentrust.org).

I'm uncertain about the composition here. Perhaps it's a mistake to have the bird centered horizontally?
Any suggestions and comments are welcome!

Henry:

I love the little projections off the trunk, seems like a small roof and balcony. I would consider cropping top and bottom, perhaps half the free space from the frame edge towards the projections. The positioning of the bird works well for me because of the strong diagonal of the trunk.

Cheers

Well done. Fine exposure and detail. Would like to see it a bit tighter.

Very nice nest and you've done well with the angle. If you have enough pixels, I would probably crop it something like this.
