Another image from the Biopark taken this past weekend. This place has been producing some great opportunities as of late, and I'm just happy to have been able to capture some of them. I was a little hesitant about this shot at first - it doesn't have that ideal, wings down position. But I'm a fan of the lifted feathers on the back, indicating separated flow over the duck, increasing drag, reducing speed ... getting ready for a smooth landing :)

Miguel:

It is a nice display of aerodynamics. Near wing is very nice, rear less so, but not easy to capture both well, esp. from the side.

Nice clean view of the head, sharp.

Cheers

Super image Miguel

Nice and sharp with and interesting pose. I would maybe clone the one or two small water drops below the bird but others opinions may differ on those.

Another cool looking duck shot Miguel. The unique pose is great and the raised feathers on the back as it hits the brakes is really nice. Exposure and detail look perfect. Nice one.

Nothing wrong with this wing position, in fact its quite dynamic. Techs, details, comp, colours all look good. There is a faint pale spot below the bill/chin that I would certainly remove.

Hi Miguel, nothing wrong with this landing pose, and just love how the head is separated from both wings. I like the ruffled feathers on the back.

Really beautiful shot Miguel, the pose is real nice but I think the shades of green all over and the detail in the checkered brown/black and the mix on the head is really fantastic, Grand work indeed.

Looks pretty nice to me. I like the nice details especially in the close wing and back feathers, pose and eye contact, Miguel.
