Do you think the leaves add or distract?

I dont think the leaves detract as much as the eyes are soft do. I like habitat. But I do think the kill hurts this image.

Ken, the kill is what it is, nature. I agree with the need for sharpening. Here is a sharpened version using Nik sharpener pro display. I didn't selectively sharpen, just sharpened the whole image and after looking at the product, this might be a better idea for you to attempt.

I'm thinking the opposite of Grady :) The leaves bother me more than the kill since that's what you were capturing. The sharpened version is an improvement. A little more space at the top to include the whole head would look better to me IMO.
