Low angle shooting is not possible at that location.
The water was clam that only happens a few times per year.
(Ship Canal at Lake Ontario/Burlington Bay)

Hi Karl,this duck is certainly different never seen one with a bill like that, with what looks like teeth on the lower mandible, not the prettiest bird .Not sure about the feathers on the back look a bit soft I think but that's with these old eyes of mine, reflection and the blue water look really good.

I see this duck at first time. Wow, what for a beak and teeth. And white eyes. Love the details and colors.
