I shot these with 1DIV, 100/2.8 tripod and 6 second exposure to attempt "light" painting. C&C greatly appreciated.

I like the light painting and the white to dark BG. It feels a little tight in the frame -- not hard to fix if you're into that sort of thing.

There is a nice soft-focus effect but I'm wondering if I want to see a little more sharp detail on the very interesting closest one.

Hi Don. Very interesting! It looks like this technique may have a lot of potential to produce quality images that are just a bit different from the norm. I like the lighting you achieved, but like Diane, I think I would prefer a little more DOF. Keep working at this!

I like the idea the the BG works very well, but seems like the entire subject should be sharp on this one. Also feels overly tight to me. Backing up could have helped with both of these things. Dark strip LR corner needs to go.

Interesting shot, perhaps more uniform illumination would have been better but I do understand thisis not what you wanted to use. I like the exposure on the subject vry much. I woukld consider lowering the brightnes of the base a little.
