Chris I always have a problem getting these birds to look right, looking at this you have no such problem, bird looks very good and sits very well on a nice clean BG,would be well pleased with this.

Sure is different seeing one in the grass like that. Good low angle, head angle, details. A bit of fill-flash would have done wonders here IMO.

What a refreshing change to see a turnstone in the grass and not on the beach.
Good POV and pose.
I would selectively brighten the bird (unless it introduces too much noise).
