I loved the "tear" in this little duck's eye.


Canon 1DX; 500mm F/4L IS USM
F/13, 1/800, ISO 800
LR5: Cropping, tone adjustments, Added some highly feathered vignetting to darken the background.

Interesting perspective ... would normally prefer lower angle but I think this works well with the pose and the water.
Nice exposure and detail ... like seeing the iridescence on the head.
A little tight in the frame for my taste ... would like more room on the left and bottom which would also help emphasize the diagonal orientation of the bird.
Looks like it could use some CW rotation.

Sharp and well exposed, I also would like a lower angle if possible.

I too am surprised that I am liking the high perspective so much! We can really see how buoyant a duck is from this view. Well exposed, sharp, and I really like that we can see the foot under the water.

I like the perspective as well. The water looks great and the details, exposure and sharpness are perfect. Looks like he has a matching teardrop on the other side. Very well done Jerry!
