Too cute! feels a little crowded. might would add a little to the right. i do like the action!!!

Hi John,

Very nice clean BG and behavior. Obviously the blue string is distracting but nothing much you can do about it. I think this image would work better in horizontal because there is a lot of dead space on top. You did well with the fill flash as you can barely tell you used it.

Did you get a picture in horizontal?

really nice John. Maybe some off top and left.....it is almost a perfect rule of thirds and looks great recropped(IMO)

I like it as presented John !!! Excellent head angle for all three. Bg looks fine and he image has a nice feel. Might suggest to back down in the sharpening just a little. I like it a lot !!!

I like the COMP but agree with Alfred about the over-sharpening... The edges of the bird and the tree looks cut out. Also, a wonderful job of capturing the peak of the action.

repost with no sharpening added. Actually in the first post there was no PS sharpening but probally a bit too much in Lightroom so I went back and reduced to default which is minimal

Thx for all of the imput

Also I did not get a horizontall but may go back and do that as they are still a couple of days away from fledging
