Travel tripod.

Thinking o buying a" Manfrotto Be Free tripod" to use on my trips abroad, I have taken a Monopod before but must admit a do like the stability of a tripod. I use a Nikon D4 camera and a 300ml 2.8 Nikon lens. If anyone out there as used this type of tripod please would you give me your thoughts.Forgot to say that all my photography is Birds and Animals.

Keith I use gitzo 3530LS all the time and I pack it in the suitcase when travelling abroad, sorry not familiar with the manfrotto
