Sweet little duck. I enjoy the plumage displayed here too. I think I remember you are a fan of this aspect ratio for side profiles on waterfowl....with a small duck like this I enjoy a more traditional 2:3 aspect ratio for comp. I think this aspect ratio works best with longer bodied waterfowl like mergansers....Tastefully sharpened. Nice work with the higher key exposure.

Thank you everyone. I appreciate the comments. I did punch the color and saturation from the original RAW file -- the fog left it very dull. But I probably could have gone further. And Shawn, your point is well taken. For this little duck, some more room at the top to change the proportion would be a good idea. I'm having some computer problems at the moment but will make both adjustments when I can. Thanks for the suggestions.
