Hello Yong and a big welcome to BPN. Congratulations on your first post!!! You have absolutely gorgeous colors in your water here and your bird looks lovely against it. It looks as though the whites in your bird have been blown out and therefore have no details.

It would be helpful if you would please include your camera settings for your images when post them. It helps people give you accurate critiques. If you would like to send them to me in a PM, I will add them to your original post.

Looking forward to more of your images.

Hi Yong, welcome to BPN!! Amazing BG here, and quite the vivid colours. The heron is well place in the frame, and the pano crop works well. I agree the whites on the heron are burnt, and I feel like it may ber a tad over-saturated too. Super appealing, hope to see more from you...and don't be shy to comment on others' works too!

Thanks Marina and Daniel for your suggestions. I can adjust the saturation of the background using DPP but the burnt part is difficult to process using the same software.
