Landscape locations near West Point, NY

Hello everyone!
I am visiting Fishkill, NY and the West Point Area towards the end of May and would like to read your recommendations for places to shoot around there. I'd like to focus on landscapes, waterfalls, etc. Any recommendations or ideas would be highly appreciated.

Check out Kaaterskill Falls in the catskills. and the catskills themselves. Maybe a little far but a very cool place. There is also the Mohonk Mountain house which seems like it would be cool to check out, and the Bear Mountain area which is next to west point.
