One from Bosque 2012 with the 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS, the 1.4X III TC (hand held at 230mm) with the 1D Mark IV. ISO 100. Evaluative metering +1 stop: 1/5 sec. at f/9 in Manual mode.

This was an in-camera zoom blur but it was not zoomed enough so I added a good bit of Radial Blur in Photoshop.

Whaddya think?

I like the combination of horizontals and zoom.

OK -- I though that was awfully steady for handholding a 1/5 sec zoom. Adding the radial blur worked very well.

Might be interesting to mask back in a little more detail from the center of the blur.

Thanks Diane. On the geese?

I was just thinking of around the larger tree. But even if I had seen the original (before the radial blur), it would take experimenting with the possibilities to know what is most pleasing. And maybe the idea would be a dud.

Really nice bands of color. It will be interesting to see what else you might unmask.

I like the rather well defined horizontal bands of color, a Bosque parfait. My eye keeps catching the bright cloud in the left upper corner.

Hi, Artie, great bands of colors and combination on blurs. I agree with Gary on the bright area in the upper left corner. I think I'd like a pano crop also, eliminating the bands of tan and green at the bottom.

Nice composition and blurring Artie. I agree with Cheryl about trying a pano crop, and revealing a little more detail at the center of the blur by the gold tree.
