This is one of my favorite birds and today this one gave me a good opportunity for a good image.

Sweet shot. I have been trying to catch one of these for three weeks now. Pleasant BG, nice catch light, good feather detail, nice perch. I'm a little surprised at f/8 the tail is out - but they are long, aren't they. It might take a little more sharpening. Love the neutral colors in the image.

Beautiful image! I love how his belly feathers hides his little bird feet. :) The BG is fantastic and the whites on the bird seem spot on. Great work!

Just wish the tail wasn't so soft , but still a very fine capture with a killer BG and wonderful exposure.

A really lovely image, that BG is something else, the only nit is the tail as said before but is a long one and some times is not easy, the rest is very good IMO.

I don't mind the OOF tail...gives it a sense of depth due to its lenght. Sweet composition, very well balanced with the high placed perch and the long tail below.
