Very nice image Graeme, the open beak nice HA and low perspective all make for a pleasing image.

Lovely image with a nice low angle, good light and that open beak is a bit plus.

A great pose and look back position.Nice light. Great low POV.
I might crop a bit tighter from the top and left.
I also see a little dust spot near LUC. I would soften the round brownish smudge just above the sand on the LHS of the bird about an inch in from the left.
If not against your ethics I would evict the black blob near the bird's left foot.

Wow sweet image, i love the IQ all around
the pose is right with a good HA
BG is sweet , may be removing the dust spot will look better
Open beak makes it more interesting

Graham just a tiny bit more at the bottom then you have perfection for me ,it looks superb!

Love the perfect head turn and open bill. Super nice low angle, and lots of wonderful details. Gail's tweak suggestions are worth exploring...
