Actually, these anoles were having a territorial battle on the bamboo plant in my back yard. The winner did not really decapitate the loser.

How cool Susan, Love the action and the DOF and sharpness is great. Congrats!! ?Best anole battle image I have seen.

The glow effect can look superb on flowers or subjects in low contrast light but for this image I would rather see more of the sharpness that is there in the origional file.

The interation is great. This really shows territorial behavior of these little lizards. I really like the head angle of the larger lizard with his eye on the smaller.

Over all i think the DOF really works in your favor here and love the way the shadows highlight the action.

Great action image. The detail and colors are excellent. The only nit is that something about the winner bothers me. I either need to see more of him or less of him. In this image, he just seems cut off at the wrong spot. Otherwise super image.
