With its bald scaling head and wart-covered neck this an ugly bird! But I still enjoyed watching it fly over me.

It is classified as an endangered species by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. This was photographed at the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island in Florida.

With it's slow flight it is a good bird to practice keeping birds in flight in focus.

Nicely done; SH with a good EXP. Why so high in the frame? Best to optimize to just <395 kb to maximize quality. The head position leaves us wishing to see more of that ugly face. Also leveled the bird.

I really like the flying right at you pose here. Artie's RP has addressed the comp issue making it an even stronger image.
