A different perspective on the Wigeon. I've been shooting these guys in the local BioPark pond, but thought it would be nice to get them as they fed in the grass. Took some time to isolate one, and I got a nice surprise when this one decided to stretch her leg and wing.
Shooting info:
Canon 5D3 | 500 f/4 II
1/640 | f/6.3 | ISO 1250
Thanks to Doug for letting me borrow some gear again. I'll have some of my own again real soon!
On a related note, anyone know how long it takes Nikon to get gear back? I sent in my 500 for a quick CLA and they said (3 weeks after they got it) that they needed to replace the manual focus ring. Sure, except now they need to order parts from Japan (didn't tell me that initially) and don't have an estimate for when they will get the parts or finish their repair. It's been a month and they haven't started the repair as they wait for parts. :(
