White Throated Dipper

Hi all,
My first post here on your great forum.
I will start with a winter guest in my neck of the woods, the white throated dipper. It is a very funny little one to watch when it cruises around and dives for insects.
1st on is 600mm, the 2nd one is 840mm.

Hi there Thomas...welcome to BPN!! First off just a quick reminder that only one image per thread is allowed (unless reposting the same image with modifications done to it).

Having said this I will critique the close up. You have terrific image quality, well exposed and sharpened tastefully. Love the water drops on the throat and the blue water in lower right corner is a very nice touch. I could do without the highlights at left bu they are not too bad. All-in-all highly appealing...looking forward to more from Denmark!

Welcome to BPN and congrats on your first post. That's always the toughest one! I am loving both of your images. On the first, wider image, I would remove the specular highlights. Love the dreamy quality of the tight portrait. Colors and light were gorgeous here.
