Had an enthralling time watching this young guy going from tree to tree being harrassed by all and sundry as he predated on the nests of young Buffalo Weavers , showing excellent gymnastic skills.:w3

Hi Marc, certainly different, I wonder if there should be less above and more below to emphasis the 'hanging' aspect, WDYT?

Perhaps a bit more mid tone to help pull out a bit more form in the plumage and some selective sharpening on the subject?

Very interesting behavior shot. Thanks for posting it. You got a nice head turn and a good look at the nest. I could imagine a little off the top.

I like this a lot.
I would like it even without the bird as the Nest and habitat are very cool.

Yes to interesting behavior. Did you see it take any chicks? I'd wish for a bit more head turn and a somewhat less obstructed view of the leggings....

Thanks Artie.

Did you see it take any chicks?

Yes, but only at distance beyond my 500's reach.:e3

Hi Marc, super hanging pose, and great that the head is a against a clean part of the BG. You would think that all the surrounding thorns would deter 'visitors', but it is survival of the fittest. :w3

I am a bit late to the party so I read the previous critiques so as to not repeat what has been said.
I agree 100% with Steve K. assessment.
A really unusual pose shown here and very enjoyable to view,
Gail
