Johnny that is so cute. I love the fluff and the little floating leaves in the water. Is the bird really that orange? I thought maybe it was over saturated from the thumbnail. But the rest of the image looks normal.

Johnny, I have the same question as does Cheryl regarding the color/saturation. Sweet fluffy pose, and a nice amount of habitat included.

I am LOVING this image. The pose and fluff is just over the top. You have awesome details. The reds look hot. I took it into PS and it looks even better with the reds tamed.

Will dowhen I get back in. Its probably with having the camera set on warm white balance as I tend to like the effect

You've got birds bathing down to a science, Johnny. Fine job.

Thanks all .
Tim- The pool is only 100yds from the house. I don't get too far these days so most of my stuff is through the window or at the pools.

Hi Johnny
Another beautiful image to catch the essence of the bird.
I did feel that the colours were too warm but you cracked it with your repost.
I find that doing an automatic colour correction in Photoshop Elements helps point me in the right direction although the Pentax K30 gives more natural colours than the Pentax K10D.
Cheers: Ian Mc PS: With your winter coming up would be neat to see any images of Fieldfares or Redwings.

Hello Ian
Thanks. I haven't got Photo shop but there must be an equivalent some where in PSP Trouble is that on a critique forum like this, you cant have your own particular prefeences (As I said- I like warm pictures.)
The Redwings and Fieldfares are already here , and I,ve got a massive backlog so I,ll get some sorted .
Thanks again.
