Image was created in Nov, 2012. I was in duel mind, whether to post it or not, since it was taken in different light angle and IQ is not up to the mark.
I hope you will like it in tight crop. Cropped for composition and sharpened.NR applied in Neat image. BG is distance rock wall of lake in shade.

ISO: 1600, 1/2500@ F: 5.6. Exposure bias: +1.
WB: Auto. HH. Canon: 550D, 400mm.

Thanks for viewing and appreciation. C & C are highly appreciated.
Kind Regards.

Hi Satish, I like your idea of the heron diagonally across the frame, but would maybe add a bit to each side, even if you dont have it. Great that we can see both eyes, and pops nicely from the smooth BG.

Satish,

I think your self-critique is spot on. Not the best IQ. With that said, it's not easy getting a bird like this coming at you in low light, so well done!

I agree with Stuart, see if you can get a bit more room all around.

Great job getting out there and doing some BIF stuff. The IQ isnt the best but they will get better. A little looser comp will lessen the effect of the IQ. Well done Satish and looking forward to more.
