Help with EOS Utility

Hi to all,
I just bought a MacBook Air and installed the Canon Solutions disk with DPP that came with my 1DX. I tried to download images from the camera and EOS keeps quitting unexpectedly. I tried restarting the laptop, then uploaded a DPP update for OS X 10.8 but it still keeps quitting on me. I tried my 1DMKIV and it still quits. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Gail, if you google 'eos application crashing mac' there are a number of references which seem to point to an update of the EOS utility that will fix the problem. Here's on of those threads. (https://discussions.apple.com/message/19908670#19908670) Good luck!

Thanks Jim. That particular link is unavailable but thanks to your google advice I found the Canon link to fix it.
