Here's another image from my trip to New Brunswick. This one was taken at low tide. Levels adjustment and Smart Sharpen.
Canon 5DMkIII, Canon 24-105mmf/4L IS @ 65mm, 1.6sec., f/22, ISO 50.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated:S3:

Hi Cheryl

I like the rock placement and the repeated patterns in the sand.. The flowers? on the waters edge add interest also... My only niggle is that the water is a little too featureless for me and it is quite dominant. I can see a hint of a wave that i think I might like to see more off... I must say I am enjoying seeing your images as they are quite different to a lot of the other images presented here..

thanks for showing

Hi Cheryl - I like the minimalist approach to this and the placement of the rocks in the frame. Nice use of the slow ss to blur the water. I might try a bit more sharpening of the rocks and fg.

Hi Cheryl,
I agree with Don's and Rachel's comments. I feel the image would be much improved if the few things sticking out of the water were very sharp. Also sharper in the foreground. Perhaps more contrast in the sand, so there is a greater contrast gradient from bottom to top?

Hi Cheryl, I really like how you have composed this one with the rocks in the upper right. I too think some additional sharpness on the rocks and sand would give it a bit of a boost...love these shoreline details you are posting...keep 'em coming :S3:

Thanks everyone for your comments. This was a longer exposure and the tide coming in over the pieces of seaweed made it hard to get them in focus. Here's a repost with added tonal contrast. I think I like it better.:S3:

Creative thinking here Cheryl. Not my favourite image of yours but I do like the repost with the sharper rocks. I wish the immediate FG were "cleaner"...
