A few weeks ago I posted an image of this individual in the same sort of setting. Here's another that I rather like as the legs are more visible and some of the vegetation is clearer too. From the low angle in the tall stuff I did not get as many keepers as when in the clear, but it was worth going for it!

Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4 TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/400s., f/7.1, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, small crop for comp, my usual eye work, and some of the brighter oof spots toned down via low-opacity clone brush.

Beautiful as presented Daniel! Love the contrast between the soft OOF grass and the razor-sharp bird. I wonder if the image would be enhanced with some subtle vignetting in the corners?

Daniel,

You've got a way with subjects in green environments, always pulling it off nicely. This is no exception. I might think about cloning out the brown in the bg (left side of the frame). Otherwise, just gorgeous!
