This was taken early in the morning on the Bay of Fundy waiting for the sun to come up. I shot it with the Canon 5DMarkIII with a 24-105 lens. 4 sec., f/18, ISO 640. I did a levels adjustment and added a little saturation and brightness in Nik Viveza. I cropped out a small sliver of sky.
Thanks for looking.:S3:

While this is an attractive abstract, I am not sure what I am looking at.
I prefer the first one you posted although I do like the colors a lot here.

Thanks, Dan. Maybe I should have titled it "Abstract Minamalist Seascape.":S3: I like the colors also.

From the thumbnail, I thought it was going to be a pan blur. I like the time blur approach much better for this image. Very peaceful.

Hi Cheryl, a very nice abstract here of the sea. Love the blue tones too. I am wondering what a touch of Detail Extractor might do for it.

I like what you went for here, Cheryl. The blue tones are loooovellyyyy... :5
I would crop from the top though, to get 3 layers of roughly equal height but varying shades of blue! :eek3:

Hey Cheryl,

I love the tones in this one and OK with it as presented but some good tweak suggestions to explore above. It isn't everyones cup of tea for sure but has a very nice feel to it for my tastes.

I'm a "water guy" so even without the title change it reminds me of water. I think there's some power in leaving the exact subject a mystery. Let us each see what we sea... ;-)

Hi Cheryl,

I like the way it is. Beautiful & pleasing blue colors makes this image interesting :S3:
Would love to learn this technique which produces abstract qualities from simple elements in Landscape.
