Greetings. Beautiful red on green composition with an umbrella of foliage. I think you might lost some detail in the reds. You might try pulling them back a bit:

A bit tricky on the small jpeg but to show the idea. I pulled the red channel only much like the RGB curve, then pulled the RGB curve as shown. Red channel result is shown. Adds some contrast to the head.

Just a thought. Sometimes the process to small jpeg can't maintain the color resolution on an image such as this, so the OP may be reflecting something not in your full res version.

Very nice! Selective Color can work wonders with reds, too - add some cyan (strange as that may sound) and then some yellow. But if they're blown out, that needs to be fixed in RAW first.

What a super image and I LOVE the umbrella of vegetation. Very artistic and colorful. Agree the original looked a tad hot, and the RP colors look good with more details. Thank you also to Diane for yet another method to work on reds.
