Nice looking bird, sharp details and gorgeous deep blue bg.
If the OOF foreground could have been avoided, this would have been an over the top image.

Beautiful little plover, nice blue BG, nice details. Large oof FG elements distracting though...sometimes in my zeal to get the lowest possible I also get that type of stuff in the way and need to get a little higher at times.

Great looking bird, nice pose and low shooting angle. It looks to me that it is an adult bird in fall migration, based on the worn feather edges.
