Another great selection of images. It is getting harder to judge. So my picks for the Toning theme. in a three way tie...... I thought each one was great in its own distinctive way and I couldn't pick an outright winner.
1. Grand Canyon Desert View (http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php/113729-Grand-Canyon-Desert-View) by Michael-Gerald Yamasaki A classic shot and stunning vista with the toning done really well. I will have to try Michael's method.
1. Morning at Babcock-Webb WMA (http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php/113736-Morning-at-Babcock-Webb-WMA)by Cindy Cone. Such a great feel to this one. The colours add perfectly to the eerie feel. Great tonal range and great comp Cindy!
1. Bristlecone Pine (http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php/113971-Solitary-Bristlecone) by Diane Miller. Really cool perspective, and I can feel the dry harsh desert heat! Even though some of the brights are hot, I thought it added to the desolate feel.
Honourable Mention to Judy Howle for Preening Geese (http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php/114016-Preening-Geese). (http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php/114016-Preening-Geese) Lovely tones and great comp and reflections!
