Found some swamp oil and thought it needed a little color, so I added these marsh marigolds.

Great job Mike. As usual, your picture stand apart. I like the composition and the texture. just beautiful.

Very nice Mike, I thought the oil was fine dust on the ground at first. The swirls make it work!

Hi Mike - your treatment here gives this floral presentation added impact - interesting swirls in the swamp-oil, something that I've never seen before until your recent postings!!

I think you've captured the flowers beautifully but the swamp oil just doesn't tickle my fancy. Personal differences, I guess. I do like (and have learned from) the way you build you compositions instead of just taking what's there.

I like the fine detail and placement of the flowers, and the way the background creates the effect of frozen swirling motion. I like the sense of not being totally certain of what it is that makes up the background.

The yellows certainly stand out. The swamp oil looks like frozen ice. Nice contrast.

This is outstanding. The oil swirls, yellow to off set. Where do you come up with these.
